Eplighting’s 13W Tri-Colour Downlight is a low profile recessed luminaire architecturally designed to replace halogen downlights and gimbals. It has 3 lights levels in one, containing 3000K, 4000K and 6000K all in the same light. The downlight is available in 90mm cut-out only and is designed to throw strong downward lumens while dispersing light to 90 degrees. This gives the light output a wide, even spread.

This LED Downlight is best suited for use as bathroom lighting, loungeroom lighting, kitchen lighting, home lighting and residential lighting.

What are LEDs? How do they work?

LED stands for light-emitting diode. LEDs are small light sources that become illuminated by the movement of electrons through a semiconductor material.
LEDs have been around for many years and have been used in various applications for a long time. LED traffic lights are used widely in Australia and most of us still use a remote control with an infra-red LED as the transmitter or a DVD or CD player with the LED to read data.
